a recent flurry of sightings in the lower vancouver island area led several distinguished cryptozoologists to initiate this internet-based data-gathering project.  Our goal is to identify, archive, and organize the various sightings that seem to be occuring with increasing frequency. where do they live? what do they do? are they breeding?  These are some of the questions we hope to answer by using the internet and a community of volunteer researchers.

If you would like to participate in the blue buck research project, keep your eyes and ears open, and when you see the buck, try to grab a photo or video, and post it here with the details of your sighting, including the location, date and time. We will use this information to determine approximately how many bucks are out there,  why they are emerging on our human landscape now, and where they have been for all these years.

This Project has been funded by an endowment from Phillips Brewing Co.
